Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety: Level 2 NVQ in Crowd Control: These credentials teach about the security of life during events that take place at public sites. It mainly concentrates on crowd control, risk management, and emergency response just to ensure the safety of people watching the event.
a) Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry (RQF)- Level 2 Award
This qualification is among those that are provided for a level 2 door supervisor qualification and it has been developed to meet the needs of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based upon appropriate SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications, with students acquiring skills and knowledge necessary to apply for an SIA license to work as a Door Supervisor.

Key Points
Qualification type: RQF guided learning hours: 4 days. However, if it is completed in less than one day, then additional learner instruction may be taken through research such as work based activities, reading, or internet. The maximum number of learners per class is twelve.
b) Level 2 Award for Working as a CCTV Operator within the Private Security Industry (RQF)
This course is a Level 2 CCTV Operator qualification which has been accredited by the Security Industry Authority to meet its requirements. This course also adheres to the SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications for Training Requirements. It provides the required knowledge and skills for those who would like to apply for an SIA license and work as a CCTV Operator.
This program is an introduction to candidates to outline the learning outcomes of the program.
- Unit 1 Understand the role and responsibilities of the CCTV operator and other CCTV staff
- Unit 2 Understand CCTV codes of practice, operational procedures and guidance.
- Unit 3 Understanding relevant legislation and its impact on CCTV operations
- Unit 4 Understand why communication is necessary in operating CCTVs
- Unit 5 Understand emergency procedures in the CCTV control room
- Unit 6 Understand what a CCTV system entails
- Unit 7 Awareness of health and safety issues that affect a CCTV operator.

Type of qualification: RQF guided learning hours: four days. If this qualification is delivered in less than twenty-three hours, it may require additional learner instruction through research i.e. Internet, reading, or work-based activities. Maximum class size twelve learners.
c) NVQ Level -2 in Spectator Safety (RQF)

The certificate requires learners’ demonstration of their knowledge, understanding and practical skill for spectator events preparation, controlling entry exit movement at spectating events, crowd monitoring/dealing with crowd problems , support team/organisation’s activities , help resolve engage in conflict ,accident/emergency situations as they arise.

Qualification type: RQF Guided Learning Hours: 6hrs. Where this qualification is run under 6 hrs, more learner guidance may be provided by way of research e.g. internet, reading, or work-based activities—class size maximum 12 learners.
